Digitally immerse into the world of books
We implemented the digital book platform in close cooperation with the design agency Velvet and our long-standing customer Pro Helvetia. A new, individual WordPress website was created, which is located within the general Pro Helvetia multisite.
Background
The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia came to us to implement the digital book platform – Translate Swiss Books. Pro Helvetia awards scholarships for translations of contemporary literary works from Switzerland. The aim is to promote cultural and linguistic diversity and help Swiss authors reach a wider audience in Switzerland and abroad.
Tailor-made digital book platform for Pro Helvetia
We implemented the digital book platform in close cooperation with the design agency Velvet and our long-standing customer Pro Helvetia. A new, individual WordPress website was created, which is located within the general Pro Helvetia multisite. For this purpose we developed an individual WordPress Theme, which was adapted to the needs of the editors.
Within the book list, the books can be easily found through a dynamic filter and individual categories. The user interface is based on the latest WordPress Block Editor. It contains blocks that were built especially for this project by our developers. The result is a customized user experience on all screen sizes with visually appealing layouts.
