Initial situation

We have been managing the autofit website for several years now. Garages can be searched on the website and appointments can be booked straight away. The garages in turn have access to the partner portal, which gives them access to features such as credit checks. hostettler autotechnik – the operator of autofit.ch – has received feedback from garages that they don’t need new customers, but people who can implement customer wishes. The garages therefore need new employees.

Together with the agency neoviso, which specializes in Generation Z and employer branding, a concept for autofit jobs was developed.

Our solution

Standardized job advertisements

Garages often have little time to take care of recruiting or the extensive description and publication of a job. Therefore, a concept was developed with which all job advertisements follow a fixed scheme, which makes it easier for the garages, but also for the job seekers, as the information is always structured in the same way.

Garages record the jobs themselves

Garages now have the option of entering a job in the partner portal. However, they do not have to write long texts and think about what the job profile should be. Instead, we present garages with a simple form in which they can compile the tasks and job profile with just a few clicks. The benefits are also presented as a predefined list from which the garages only have to make a selection. Of course, there is always the option to add further content.

Notifications

When a garage has entered a job, a notification is sent to the autofit editorial team. This notification contains a direct link to the editing mode of the job entered. This allows the editorial team to react quickly to new jobs and publish them very promptly.

WYSIWYG

What the potential applicants see is also what the editorial team sees in the backend. This makes it easier for the editorial team to view the advertisements from the jobseeker’s perspective and optimize them accordingly. The job is ready for publication in just a few simple steps.

Attractive job profiles

The individual job advertisements aren’t just a desert of text, but feature various elements that make the decision to apply easier. Each job is structured like its own landing page, which can also be shared on social media or with friends. The most important information can be seen at a glance and the use of images, videos and pictograms appeals to a young target group.

Clever search

The job overview offers an all-in-one search with a central search field. Jobs can be filtered by title, location, canton or specific benefits. For example, if you place particular value on free coffee, you can search specifically for this and only see suitable offers.

Apply in under 2 minutes

When it comes to the application option, great importance was attached to ensuring that job seekers have as little effort as possible. All they have to do is enter their name and contact details, why they fit in with the garage and how they would like to be contacted. CVs, letters of motivation and other documents can be uploaded, but do not have to be.
