Starting position

The Swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia, which promotes artistic creation and cultural exchange in Switzerland and abroad, reached out to us to relaunch their website. They wanted a clear user interface to bring their sub-organizations and five international branches into one centralized website hub. Being active in 8 countries with 8 different languages, for them it was essential that the website could be easily translated into different languages.

Global network easily translated and managed

Together with our design partner :ratio, we developed a contemporary concept for the international website. Then we moved all the data that Pro Helvetia had saved in the old content management system “Typo3” to WordPress and created an individually adapted multisite. With our tailor-made solution, content can now be managed centrally and efficiently worldwide. With just a few clicks, content can be translated into any language.

The heart of the project is the individual pages of the branch offices in Cairo, Johannesburg, New Delhi, Shanghai and Moscow. For the website in Cairo, Egyptian Arabic, we even designed an extra view with which the content can be displayed from right to left without any problems.

We have been supporting Pro Helvetia as their web agency partner since 2015. Since then we have been responding monthly to their individual needs regarding further developments on their websites while keeping it up to date.
