Two new garage concepts, two new websites
For several years now, we’ve been proud to count hostettler autotechnik among our clients. This year, that long-standing partnership moves into a new phase.
In 2026, we got to build two new websites for two fresh garage concepts: TeslaPoint and Autovivo.
Two brand-new garage concepts for hostettler autotechnik, two new websites: that was the assignment for 2026.
TeslaPoint is built for garages that specialize in Tesla vehicles. Autovivo makes its debut at the autotechnik Days at the Lucerne Exhibition Center. Two concepts with their own positioning and branding, but a shared technical foundation.
Sounds like a lot to pull off in a short window? It was. Which is exactly why we worked closely, iteratively and very directly with the marketing team at hostettler autotechnik.

Project information
- Client: hostettler autotechnik
- Year: 2026
- Project: new websites for TeslaPoint and Autovivo
- Technology: WordPress Multisite, Full Site Editing, custom child theme
- Focus: fast implementation, flexible editorial process, clear corporate design, strong performance
Starting point: new brands, tight timeline, existing platform
The hostettler autotechnik multisite platform has been around for a good while. Our job was to extend it to house the two new garage concepts, TeslaPoint and Autovivo.
The goal was clear: the new websites had to go live quickly, look good, and be easy for the editorial team to maintain.
The base design came straight from the marketing team at hostettler autotechnik. Our task was to turn it into a flexible, high-performance, editor-friendly WordPress setup.

What mattered most here?
- The tight timeline before launch
- Close coordination with the marketing team
- An iterative approach to design and development
- Plenty of freedom for the editorial team in the editor
- Clear guidelines to keep the corporate design consistent
Our solution
Flexible full-site editing with clear guidelines
We built the new websites on the existing WordPress multisite platform, with a new full-site editing theme as the technical foundation.
On top of that, we built a child theme with the specific design tweaks and special features the new concepts needed. That let us give TeslaPoint and Autovivo their own distinct look, while still making efficient use of the existing architecture.
The big win: the solution stays lean, maintainable and scalable, exactly what a growing multisite environment needs.
WYSIWYG, but done right
A beautiful website matters. A good editorial experience in the backend matters just as much.
So we made it a priority: the editorial team should be able to edit content true-to-life, right inside the WordPress Site Editor. Colors, layouts and components follow clear guidelines, yet stay flexible enough for different kinds of content.

We lean on the native WordPress capabilities of modern block themes, so colors, typography and layouts render accurately right in the editor. That means the editorial team can see, while they’re still editing, exactly how the content will look on the live site.
No guesswork. No constant hopping between backend and frontend. Just edit, review, publish.
Freedom for the editorial team, guardrails for the design
The team at hostettler autotechnik had already prepared some of the content. We took in the key points right away and then ran a short training session. From there, the team could take over the detailed work themselves and keep building out the content.
To make sure this freedom never works against the design, we set clear guidelines together. Every option in the editor is grounded in the style guide and follows the design rules we agreed on.
What’s in it for the editorial team?
- The editorial team can structure content flexibly
- New pages come together much faster
- Existing content is easy to adapt
- The corporate design stays consistent across every page
- The website grows with the team’s needs
Block patterns for fast content
For everyday work in the backend, we created a range of block patterns, polished templates and starter patterns. They let the marketing team assemble new content quickly, without starting from a blank page every time. And all the while, spacing, typography, colors and layout logic stay consistent.
That’s especially valuable for new brands: they can build momentum without giving up any visual quality.
Fine-tuning the design during implementation
The initial design came from the client. During development, we refined it further, adapted it for the technical build, and adjusted things where the digital context called for it.
This direct way of working paid off. Rather than long planning phases up front, we worked iteratively, tried different options and made decisions quickly, together. Step by step, that produced websites that fit the brand, run flawlessly on the technical side, and stay easy for the editorial team to use.
Lean, fast and ready to go
For all the flexible editing options, the technical infrastructure stays deliberately lean. The sites load quickly, use the existing hosting architecture, and slot neatly into the existing multisite environment.
For us, that’s exactly what makes a solution a good one: not needlessly complicated, but reliable, high-performing and tailored to our clients’ everyday needs.

Two performances on a shared stage
With TeslaPoint and Autovivo, hostettler autotechnik has launched two new garage concepts that show up well online and are easy to maintain editorially.
For us at required, it was a chance to grow the existing multisite platform by two modern, flexible, high-performance websites. We especially enjoyed working closely with the marketing team: the collaboration was direct, pragmatic and always pointed at the same goal.
The result: two websites that not only look the part but are a real pleasure to work with on the backend.
Because in the end, good digital platforms work for everyone: for visitors, for customers, and for the people who work in them every day.
